Trimester 1 (1/3/2019 – 1/6/2019)
During my trimester 1 is the start of being an IT professional where I take on subjects that I never learn before. I took programming, thinking design and technology and responsive web app. In programming I get to learn my first programming language which is C++. C++ is programming language that is widely used in the IT world nowadays. In my programming I learn how C++ works and how to make use of it during programming.

During my trimester 1 I also learned thinking design and technology which is using your critical thinking skills to solve algorithms and pseudo code. This though me on coding can also be written in the form of paper and pencil not just typing on the computer. I also learn a lot of techniques that are able to put into use in trimester 2 one of them is constructing truth tables which I also learn in discrete mathematics during my trimester 2.

Lastly, the last subject I learned is responsive web apps which is learning stuff like HTML, CSS and Javascript. This thought me on how to create and edit a website by using codes. Even though this subject has the most workload out of the three, but I gain a lot of knowledge and understanding about Javascript which help me a lot during my assignments

Trimester 2 (1/7/2019 – 1/10/2019)
During my trimester 2 I’m currently taking 3 subjects as well discrete mathematics, exploring IT, data and management. So currently in discrete mathematics I learn a lot of math related solutions such as sets and methods of proving equation this subject requires a lot of critical thinking and problem solving skills which gives me a challenge to proof myself how far I can go.
The second subject I’m currently taking is exploring IT which is about steps to become a IT professional this subjects teaches you how IT professionals in the world do their job in the industry and making sure we do the same.
Lastly, the subject I’m taking is data and information management which teaches us how to store data and how computers stored their data’s and entities which is use when in the future where you want to work in the IT industry.
Trimester 3 (1/11/2019 – 31/1/2020)
During trimester 3 I will learn more about cyber security by taking real world cyber security and taking more knowledge about IT and cyber security. I also will be taking cloud computing and in cloud computing I will learn the concepts and technologies used in Cloud Computing including virtualisation, enterprise networks, and system security, and develop the expertise required to construct software solutions using public and private cloud infrastructure.
Bachelor of Information technology (year 2, 2020)
In year 2 we will learn more about information technology such as network and communication which we will learn how computer networks are constructed, how they work, and how modern applications use the services provided by modern computer networks. Other core units we learn like project delivery, project design and many more. In term of major I will learn more in the cyber security such as ethical hacking and cryptography.
Bachelor of information technology (year 3, 2021)
In year 3 of Bachelor of Information Technology we will learn about professional practice information technology and enterprise, entrepreneurship and innovation which we learn about what it means to engage in a process of innovation, scaling ideas from pipe dreams to enterprise solutions for both profit and NGO’s. In the major of cyber security we learn more about system security and cyber security management.
After Bachelor’s degree
After completing my bachelor’s degree, I will be doing cyber security such as ethical hackers or cryptographers which analyze and decrypt hidden information from cyber terrorists. One main point of being a cyber security is to ensure data stays out of the wrong hands.
